We know. July is cold. The couch is warm. Staying home has never been so appealing.
But Cabin Fever wasn’t built for hibernating.
This year’s lineup is stacked with the kind of events that make leaving the house in the middle of winter feel like a very good idea. Think long lunches, fire-lit feasts, flowing wine, vibey music, and one off collaborations bringing together some of WA’s best chefs, venues and producers for nights that’ll only happen once.
From Freo favourites heading south to whisky feasts, waterfront Yum Cha and porchetta-fueled Sunday lunches, these are the collabs worth rugging up for. So, what are you waiting for?

Two chefs. Two intimate evenings.
Chef Brian Cole joins de’sendent’s Evan Hayter for de’cadent, a multi-course winter feast celebrating seasonal local produce with curated beverage pairings. Expect thoughtful dishes, bold technique and the kind of menu that makes people pause mid-conversation after the first bite.

Distiller’s Table – The Grove Distillery x Cassia Fremantle
Thursday 23 July | 6pm – 10pm | The Grover Distillery, Wilyabrup
Big flavours, bold spirits and a very good excuse to spend the night fireside.
The Grove and Cassia Fremantle team up for a cosy winter feast pairing handcrafted whisky, house-made liqueurs and cocktails with a flavour packed menu designed to match every pour. Expect guided whisky tastings with head distiller Shannon Grigg, seriously good food and warm Cabin Fever energy tucked inside The Grove’s cosy den.

The Goose x Emily Taylor Yum Cha
Thursday 23 and Friday 24 July | 6pm – 10pm | The Goose, Busselton
Back by popular demand, The Goose and Fremantle favourite Emily Taylor are reuniting for another flavour packed Yum Cha feast by the water.
Expect multiple courses of bold Asian-inspired dishes created exclusively for the night, blending Emily Taylor’s signature flavours with The Goose’s relaxed coastal style and produce-led approach. Think delicate bites, bigger share plates and plenty hitting the table all night long.
Add bespoke cocktails, curated wines and Busselton Jetty views just metres away, and you’ve got waterfront dining the Cabin Fever way.

Pork & Pinot – Borrello Vineyards x Alex Turner x Taylor Bradley
Sunday 26 July | 12pm – 5pm | Borrello Vineyards, Witchcliffe
Pinot in one hand. Porchetta panini in the other. Exactly where you want to be.
Head Chef Alex Turner (Kith Eatery) and Taylor Bradley (Weir’s Butcher) come together for a long table Sunday lunch celebrating the release of Borrello Vineyards’ new Pinot Noir.
The afternoon kicks off with an antipasto of cured meats and grilled seasonal vegetables alongside a complimentary glass of wine, before moving into pork neck spiedini cooked live over hibachi flames. Then comes the fully loaded porchetta panini finale because restraint was never really the point.
Add live music throughout the afternoon and you’ve got peak Cabin Fever energy.

FAST.FOOD.FANCY – Normal Van x Blaze Young – SOLD OUT
Friday 17 July | 6pm – 10pm | Normal Van, Margaret River
Fast food. But make it fancy.
Normal Van’s Rob Webster teams up with chef Blaze Young for FAST.FOOD.FANCY. Express Edition, a cocktail-style party serving pure nostalgia with a seriously elevated glow up. Expect roaming canapés, flame kissed bites off the hibachi, retro inspired snacks and a trifle trolley bringing dessert chaos straight to the dance floor.
On the drinks front, Jess Waldron’s Jingalup Wines and funky throwback cocktails will be keeping spirits high while vinyl spins late into the night. Dress like it’s your mum’s 80s cocktail party (just cooler), grab a drink and settle in for a night of fancy fast food and very questionable dance decisions.
