Cabin Fever isn’t just about long lunches, delicious food and wine by the fire. Once the sun goes down, we turn up the heat.
This year’s live music lineup is bringing big indie energy, disco-fuelled dance floors and brewery nights that’ll have you saying “we’ll just stay for one more” at least six times. From live bands and DJs to soul and funk, here’s where the volume’s going up this winter.
WHAT’S ON
Jungle Giants
Friday 17th July | Shelter Busselton | $89.95+BF
Big indie energy is heading to Shelter Busselton as The Jungle Giants bring their Experiencing Feelings of Joy tour to town. Armed with their new album and a reputation for absolutely lighting up festival stages, expect dancefloor anthems, big feelings and a crowd that knows every word.
Supported by The Tullamarines and Tear Drive, this one’s for the tastemakers, indie lovers and anyone planning to “just have a quiet one” before accidentally ending up front row.

Blazing Brews at Beerfarm
Saturday 18th July | Beerfarm | $67.50+BF
Beerfarm’s legendary winter bash is back and bringing the heat with live music, beers and bonfires all night long.
Expect Bethany Chia, Howling Onshore, Mossy Fogg and Papa Peet soundtracking the night while the beers flow and the fires crackle. Rug up, grab a pint and settle in because nobody’s leaving early from this one.

Red Hot At Swings
Friday 24th July | Swings and Roundabouts, Yallingup | $85+BF
Things are heating up at Swings and Roundabouts this winter.
Dance the night away with Dr Soul, a 10-piece band from Perth featuring a four-piece horn section pumping out soul, funk, disco and all the rest, alongside fiery performances guaranteed to keep the energy high from start to finish.
Translation: It’s going to get hot in here…

Disco Juice Vol 3
Saturday 25th July | CBCo Brewing | $40+BF
The disco party of all disco parties is back, bigger, brighter and dripping in sparkle.
CBCo Brewing transforms into a glitter-covered fever dream with DJ LS Disco, Charlie Bucket and Rok Riley spinning vinyl and disco beats deep into the night. Throw in funky cocktails, a special Disco Juice Malbec Sour and a crowd dressed like it’s a retro cocktail party gone very off-script, and suddenly your sensible winter plans disappear completely.

The Cabin
Friday 17th, Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July | FREE entry*
The Cabin isn’t just Cabin Fever’s home base. It’s where you’ll find three days of live music, good vibes and plenty of reasons to stick around a little longer.
Set against the Busselton Foreshore, this year’s lineup brings together some of WA’s most exciting emerging artists, local favourites and seasoned performers, spanning indie rock, folk, blues, soul, grunge and groove-driven DJ sets.
Expect raw blues and roots energy from Lightnin Jack, explosive alt-rock from The Forever Party, and the incredible guitar work of Charlie Youngson. Margaret River local Tom River brings his signature coastal storytelling, while Brightsider delivers their award-winning blend of indie RnB, groove-soul and South West sunshine.
Also taking to the stage are folk, alt-country and Americana storyteller Whiskey Jack, Fremantle indie rock favourites Figurehead, rising Boorloo grunge outfit Navy June, and folk rock’n’roller Clare Perrott.
Rounding out the lineup is Dan White, a cornerstone of the WA music scene, alongside Luke Vecchio, whose atmospheric, groove-driven DJ sets will keep the energy rolling throughout the weekend.
Three days. Ten artists. Free entry. Not bad for a wintery weekend.
