As winter settles in over the South West, the anticipation of the region’s iconic winter fest is palpable. Cabin Fever lands this 12-21 July with an incredible lineup of over 40 events to celebrate our shared loved for food, wine, and good times. Now, you might be expecting all the usual suspects – feasts for royalty, blazing bonfires, top-notch wines and live tunes to keep the vibes soaring, but there’s something else to top that off that we’ve been keeping a secret. And you’re about to be the first to know.

Pop over to Rocky Ridge after you clock off work on Friday for a cheeky Happy ‘Fever’ Hour. No plans on Saturday? Same thing. Happy ‘Fever’ Hour on Fridays and Saturdays throughout Cabin Fever, from 4-6pm.
Explore the city of Busselton like you’ve never done before. Grab some comfy shoes and come with an empty stomach as you embark on one of Forage Safari’s incredible walking tours, where you’ll taste and savour some of Busso’s best food and wine. You choose:
- Busselton Uncorked: A Food & Wine Walkabout tour taking place Friday’s 12 and 19 July and Saturday 13 July. Tour departs at 5pm and lasts 3 hours. Maximum 12 people, $95/person.

‘Seven Deadly Tins Degustation’, a mischievous collaboration with Rocky Ridge on Tuesday, 16 July. Taste seven ‘deadly tins’ by Rocky Ridge as you pair each beer with a curated dish by Pour House, matching either the sin or the flavor.

‘A cocktail journey’ crafted by none other than yourself 😉 Following the instructions from their ship’s Captain, Cami, you’ll be given all the ingredients to craft your own concoctions. Enjoy a glass of prosecco upon arrival, sip on four different cocktail creations, and enjoy some finger food to keep those bellies settled. Gather your mates for a cheeky mid-week adventure. Will you help them ‘Paint the town red’? All it requires is your eagerness to taste some bloody good wines. They’ll be pouring a large range of reds from Vallee Du Venom daily throughout the festival, for $10 a glass. Plus, if you come down on Sunday, 14 July, you’ll get to meet Vallee du Venom’s Winemaker, as he’ll guide you through a delicious wine tasting session from 5:30-8:30 pm.
‘Snacks & Sips’ sounds like the perfect plan. Enjoy a curated selection of wines from Wayfinder (WA), Swell Season (WA), Small Wonder (TAS), and more, with the following snacks to choose from: duck tostada, Albany sardines on sourdough toast with garlic cream and confit lemon, marinated green Sicilian olives, local sourdough with Wulura Farms’ olive oil, and last but not least, spiced potatoes with pickled onion and chipotle mayo.
