If you were already starting to plan your winter escape this year, you might want to schedule your days off around the South West for what looks to be the hottest 10 days of July.
We know what Winter in the South West feels like. And for years in a row now, we’ve come up with the perfect anti Winter-blues antidote.
From 12 to 21 July, Cabin Fever returns to kick off the winter chills and fire up your senses. Over 40 events all the way from Busselton to Margaret River and in between, we’re bringing the best local eats, crafty brews and soul-warming tunes to break free from hibernation mode. With some of our all-time classics returning and a bunch of new exciting events, here’s a little sneak peek on what to expect.
A Winter of Cabernet
Not one, not two, but three events dedicated to the king of grapes! Our fellow Cabernet Sauvignon worshippers have come together and it is promising to be a wine-tastic Cab Sav journey across multiple events and venues. From tastings, to sit-down paired menus – it’ll be a pilgrimage through a red-tinted paradise.
The South West’s Hunger Games are back
Promising to be cheesier than ever, the renowned Cheese Toastie Battle will be popping up inside The Cabin once again. Instead of deadly battles, expect a big cheesy showdown. Fill up your belly as you help choose this year’s Cheese Toastie Champion.
Saddle up!
Dust off those country boots and buckle up for some Wild South West nights of boot-scootin’, knee-slappin’ and live music, country style.
Winter feasts fit for royalty
Prepare to devour the best of winter produce with some mind-blowing chef collaborations. From brunch to lunch, to casual bites and 5-course fine dining menus – we’ve got something big cooking.
So, rally your crew and mark your calendars. Tickets go on sale early May – and they sell out fast.
